4 tablespoons (60 mL) applesauce

4 tablespoons (60 mL) cinnamon

small bowl

wax paper

cookie cutter, any shape

pencil

ruler

scissors

8-inch (20-cm) piece of string

1 Measure and mix the applesauce and cinnamon in a small bowl. Stir until it forms a thick paste.

2 Dump the mixture onto wax paper.

3 Spread the batter out until it is about ½ inch (13 millimeters) thick.

4 Use the cookie cutter to cut a shape into the batter.
